I’ve spent over half my life as a stay-at-home mom who was never home. In those years I have worn many hats. My titles have included volunteer team mom (basketball, soccer, baseball, track– you name it), Girl Scout cookie mom, math tutor, writing coach, volunteer coordinator, parent advisory team member, band mom, uniform mom, and so much more. The word that probably stands out to you most so far is “mom”.
With my three daughters and defense contractor husband, my family has relocated several times. Although my driver’s license has said otherwise, I’ve been calling Florida home for almost 30 years (7 of those spent in Melbourne). Before becoming a Floridian, I grew up in Mobile, Alabama– the birthplace of Mardi Gras. With all of this experience in a thing called life, I love being able to connect families with “home”. Wherever, and with whomever, that may be.
